As a convenience to the user, OE will display JPEG and several other graphic
attachments in a separate section below the text when the message is opened. Does the JPEG display correctly here? Does this happen with all JPEG attachments? -- ~Robear Dyer (PA Bear) MS MVP-Windows (IE/OE, Shell/User, Security), AH-VSOP Phoenix wrote: > I have Windows 98 SE and Outlook Express 6.0. When I get the placeholder with Red X, it also displays in this manner below
the text in the body of the message. I have at least one message with a jpeg attachment that does display correctly intermixed (time-wise) with ones I can't. In this instance, the file size is smaller -- a little over 100kb -- while some others are larger -- 797kb, 1mb etc. This file should be a problem for my ISP but maybe it's a clue to something else? It's the only differentiator I've been able to discern. Thx for your help. -- Catherine in Phoenix "PA Bear" wrote: > As a convenience to the user, OE will display JPEG and several other graphic > attachments in a separate section below the text when the message is opened. > Does the JPEG display correctly here? > > Does this happen with all JPEG attachments? > -- > ~Robear Dyer (PA Bear) > MS MVP-Windows (IE/OE, Shell/User, Security), AH-VSOP > > > Phoenix wrote: > > I have Windows 98 SE and Outlook Express 6.0.
