Default Can messages sent from a server be downloaded?

I've just set up Outlook Express to send and receive messages from my
Yahoo server mailbox (via POP 3). I was able to download all messages
recieved but I can't download any sent messages. I've checked
Microsoft & Google without any result.

Regards, Hubchy

No.

<whisper> YahooPOPs can be configured to do so, however (though the messages
will download into your Inbox).

The server controls what folders can be downloaded for a POP3 account.
In the case of Yahoo, that is the Inbox and optionally the Bulk folder.

If you want to download Sent messages you have to move or copy them to
the Inbox on Yahoo. They will download to the OE Inbox, unless you have
a message rule to move them elsewhere. You could do that based on the
sender being you. But be advised, some spam uses the recipient as the
sender as well.
