It would probably be easier to keep the current address for your mailing
lists and get a new one for regular e-mail. I know most people don't like to change their primary address if possible, but if you did it this way, you wouldn't have to worry about creating 54 new folders and rules. Just uncheck Leave a message on the server for the current address and check it for the new one. Your options are getting slimmer to do what you want. -- Bruce Hagen MS MVP - Outlook Express ~IB-CA~ "Bill Marriott" <wjm@wjm.org> wrote in message news:uP$gI156FHA.736@TK2MSFTNGP09.phx.gbl... > Yes, that IS the other option. Whenever I register a product, I use a "custom" email address (usually). so
my iTunes account, for example, is "apple(at)wjm.org." This way I know, when I get an unexpected mail, who has shared my email address. I could use "newsletters(at)wjm.org" but then I would lose that ability. I wouldn't be able to identify who was the source of the email. I could indeed set up a different account for each subscription, but as mentioned in another reply of mine to this thread, that is a lot of overhead work to keep synchronized between my message rules, ISP, and OE accounts. Thanks for the suggestion though. Yes, you're right -- I'm being a little particular. But I don't plan to
change my primary address from wjm(at)wjm.org, it's just so short and easy to remember. Additionally, I like having my primary address set up as a "catch all" because then I don't miss anything. It would be nice if Delete from server worked the way I wanted it to, but it doesn't, so I'll live with it. Thank you for the suggestions though!
