I run a home-based publc relations business.
I have a new client, who, when he sends an e-mail I can read the subject line but nothing else appears. I think he may have to change a MIME setting, but he refuses to do this. Is there a setting I can change at me end? In any case, why does this happen? I appreciate any help with this |

Open one of his messages in OE and then do a CTRL-F3 on it and you should be
able to read it. If you want, you can copy the header (the part down to where the mail text starts) and email it to me and I'll take a look at it. cheers, steve "Wendy" <Wendy@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:A39B72ED-D179-4D3B-90F9-FB5E8700C6BA@microsoft.com... >I run a home-based publc relations business. > I have a new client, who, when he sends an e-mail I can read the subject > line but nothing else appears. > I think he may have to change a MIME setting, but he refuses to do this. > Is > there a setting I can change at me end? > In any case, why does this happen? > I appreciate any help with this |

Your Windows version?
If the client is using MS Outlook, ask that he send to you only using Plain Text format and see if that clears things up. -- ~Robear Dyer (PA Bear) MS MVP-Windows (IE/OE, Shell/User, Security), AH-VSOP Wendy wrote: > I run a home-based publc relations business. > I have a new client, who, when he sends an e-mail I can read the subject > line but nothing else appears. > I think he may have to change a MIME setting, but he refuses to do this. > Is there a setting I can change at me end? > In any case, why does this happen? > I appreciate any help with this |

Look at the Message Source (Ctrl-F3) for one of his messages. The
X-Mailer header will identify is mail program. What does it say? If it is Lotus Notes AND you are using SpamKiller, that is your problem. SpamKiller corrupts the MIME message headers for messages from Lotus Notes. Uninstalling SpamKiller will fix the problem. -- Mike - http://pages.prodigy.net/michael_santovec/techhelp.htm "Wendy" <Wendy@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:A39B72ED-D179-4D3B-90F9-FB5E8700C6BA@microsoft.com... >I run a home-based publc relations business. > I have a new client, who, when he sends an e-mail I can read the > subject > line but nothing else appears. > I think he may have to change a MIME setting, but he refuses to do > this.
