Default Copy Address Book

I want to copy my address book over from my old to my new laptop.

When I Select File, Export I am given two choices one the txt file I assume
is for printing out the list. The other I thought was for copying over.
But when I do this is then says process completed but doesn't give me the
opportunity to select where I want to copy to i.e. CD, or even tell me where
it has exported it to.

Do I have to just copy the WAB off my hard drive and insert it into the
correct folder on my other laptop?

TIA

B.W.

dunno dont export often enuough to remember
but, the file is saved as a .csv file so find files named *.csv will find
where it is
and the Browse button on the export panel is supposed to let you choose the
filename and folder

Easiest is to copy the desired WAB file to the laptop. Then open Outlook
Express and use its menu, File/Import/Address Book and point to the copied
WAB file. Be aware that if you have created Groups and Folders, those will
not import. See here for more info: http://www.insideoe.com/files/wab.htm

Open the Address Book first, then File | Export | Address Book (wab). Export
it to a location of your choice and copy to CD or Floppy from there.

Copy the CD or Floppy to your HDD on the Laptop. Open the Address Book and
Import | Address Book (wab) and point to where you saved it.

Choosing File | Export while in OE, and not the Address Book, is not a
workable solution.
