You *may* be able to import the data into Eudora. From there, you can
import it into OE. YMMV. Don Goyette wrote: > Can someone tell me how to get address book and messages from thunderbird > to Outlook Express? > > Thanks, > > Don |

Mail messages: the BEST way is to download and install Netscape Communicator 4.x (get them here: http://browser.netscape.com/ns8/download/archive47x.jsp) then copy all the mail files from your Thunderbird profile WITHOUT the extension into your new Netscape profile. Open netscape and click on each file to build the indices. Then in OE just do an import. BTW, I would be very interested as to WHY you are moving from TBird to OE? |

I use OE for email instead of Thunderbird due to OE's ability to have multiple signatures and its ability to always show the mailto: as clickable. I also don't care for Thunderbird creating an Inbox, etc. for each email account. I use Thunderbird for news not because it's better than OE but because it makes compacting a much longer experience (and therefor susceptible to corruption) than without news. Alias |
