Default dbx files

When I got a new computer, I transferred my saved OE messages from the old
to the new computer. These messages ended up in My Documents under
Documents and Settings. They are all dbx files. How do I open these files
from their location?

Hopefully you also copied Folders.dbx to the cd?
If so, copy all the folders to another folder on your desktop for ease
of use. Right click on the folder and remove the "read only" attribute.
Now open OE and do file>import, pointing to the folder on your desktop.
If you did not also save Folders.dbx, then see this work around, using
the prescribed method for each of your saved folders.

(Two similar queries in a row, with virtually the same answer.)

In OE click File, Import, Messages, then click OE6 and next, then select
"Import mail from an OE6 store directory" and next and then browse to where
the dbx files are located on your hard drive.
