Default fixing ie6 so it's always maxmized

Hi
anyone know of a registry fix so IE6 always opens maximized?
Found a program on major geeks that does the job but I really don't want
another app loading into my startup folder
Thanks
Pete

There isn't really any way to do this.
What you can do is open a Single instance of IE, and drag it out to full
screen (without using the maximise button) - then close the window.
Next time you open IE it should open to the same size.

If you mean from the IE icon you could set up a local homepage to set in the
homepage field, of course if a web site provides sizing data this won't
help, depends how you use it.

See example bottom of this page - try the example and see if that idea works

I use the following. Small, free program, which works all the time.
Recommended.

Depends on what you mean, e.g. how you are launching it.

Any Desktop shortcut can be set to open maximized.
(right-click, Properties, Shortcut tab, Run: Maximized)

You're welcome, I wouldn't be without it now, runs in the background,
unobtrusive, and saves all that messing around stretching this and that!
I can't claim to have found it though - MVP PA Bear told me about it.
