Can't play .asx files in WMP 10

I can't seem to open and play .asx files with WMP 10. I get the following
error when I try:

Windows Media Player cannot perform the requested action at this time.

Then I click on Web Help, and I get the following:

You've encountered error message C00D11D4 while using Windows Media
Player. We are investigating the cause of this error. We will post
more information about this error when it becomes available.

I am using the latest version of Media Player (10), and I have re-installed
a couple of times, and have made sure I have the latest updates and Plugins.
Can anyone help me figure this out? Thanks,

As this is a newsgroup for Outlook Express, you would be better posting
your question in a newsgroup for Media Player?
