I had this problem before, fixed it, by accident, and now it's back.
When I click on a link in my email, it tries to open, as some of the "some & from" blue pane flashes. But it won't open. I tried looking in the "folder options" & file types, scrolled down, but I don't have the "URL:HyperText Transfer Protocol" I created a new one, but it doesn't work. Any suggestions? Thanks very much |

It's hard to believe you don't have it. It's prefixed with [NONE], not far
from the top. If you find it, and the fix at: http://www.fjsmjs.com/OE/nolinks.htm does not work, try re-registering these commands. Start>Run> type, or Copy/Paste, these in one at a time and try again. (Note the space in each command). regsvr32 Mshtml.dll regsvr32 Oleaut32.dll regsvr32 Shell32.dll regsvr32 actxprxy.dll regsvr32 shdocvw.dll regsvr32 urlmon.dll In IE, go to: Tools>Internet Options>Programs. Click: Reset Web Settings - (uncheck box for homepage) - Click Yes. -- Bruce Hagen MS MVP - Outlook Express ~IB-CA~ "Dirk" <teqtronics@gmail.com> wrote in message news:1132547805.506701.48010@o13g2000cwo.googlegro ups.com... >I had this problem before, fixed it, by accident, and now it's back. > > When I click on a link in my email, it tries to open, as some of the > "some & from" blue pane > flashes. Try going to Start | Set Program Access and Defaults and set it for IE and
OE. If that doesn't fix it, then try going to Tools | Options | Programs in IE and click on reset web settings. If that doesn't work, then see here: www.oehelp.com/ielnk.aspx steve "dave" <dmkx123@hotmail.com> wrote in message news:u4j3Ro$7FHA.1416@TK2MSFTNGP09.phx.gbl... > > "Dirk" <teqtronics@gmail.com> wrote in message > news:1132547805.506701.48010@o13g2000cwo.googlegro ups.com... >>I had this problem before, fixed it, by accident, and now it's back. >> >> When I click on a link in my email, it tries to open, as some of the >> "some & from" blue pane >> flashes.
