Default moving storage folder to removable device

I tried to move the storage folder of OE 6.0 to a removable device (a USB
Pen-Drive).

Disapointed I figured out that OE don't allow this operation. The folder in
the removable device is gray and no selection is possible.

I am sure I can change a line in registry to make this work.

The question is: what key, what line, what parameters?

Can anybody help me?

(sorry about possible errors in english)

Thanks, Dave, for your reply, but it's not so easy.
Please, check another answer below:

Hi Walter,

The problem with moving the store to a removeable device is the same problem
faced when moving the store to a network device. Yes, you can change a line
in
the registry to do it, but because OE is so tied to the registry on the
originating device, the results are not satisfactory. You will be totally
unable to use newsgroups in this way, and you are likely to find yourself
repeatedly having to edit the registry to reset the path. I suggest you
forget
about that approach.

I know there are 3rd party utilities that can manage this. I know a TabletPC
MVP who does this on her computer. I'll check with her on the details and
get
back to you here.
