outlook not saving settings!

Please help - my blocked senders list is not saving! Everytime I shut down
the computer the whole thing is wiped and I have to start again - as a result
I am getting a lot of spam! I think this is since I installed SP2 on Windows
XP.

Using Blocked Senders to eliminate Spam is really a waste of time, since
Spammers are constantly changing their addresses. That said, your Blocked
Senders registry key has become corrupted.

The registry key has become corrupt.

1.. In Regedit, navigate to this key:

|--HKEY_CURRENT_USER
|-----Identities
|--------{GUID}
|-----------Software
|--------------Microsoft
|-----------------Outlook Express
|--------------------5.0

where GUID is the Global Unique IDentifier for your Identity.

2.. Under that key, you will find the following sub-keys, among
others:

|-----------------------Block Senders
|-----------------------Rules
|-----------------------Signatures

Select the Block Senders Key and delete it. Blocked Senders will be empty,
but you can rebuild it now.

Try Message Rules for a better, although not perfect way to help with Spam.
