Did you import from Outlook?
Drafts will have saved unfinished email in it.
I don't know if the other folders can be used.

If you have Calender, Contacts, Journal, Notes and Tasks folders, they were
stupidly imported from Outlook and have no function in Outlook Express.

Gee, "stupidly imported" is kind of strong from an MVP isn't it?

Actually that's rather mild.

MVPs are some of Microsoft's harshest critics. We want the best
possible products. And we aren't shy about letting Microsoft know what
needs improvement.

If you were to ever attend one of the face-to-face sessions that we have
with the developers, you would see that they come out bloodied and
bruised (figuratively speaking), and loving every minute of it (I guess
they must be masochists).
