I checked the box "Leave a copy of message on server", but it doesn't do
that. I tried uninstalling and re-installing but it doesn't work still. The problem is with my desktop. It seems to be intercepting mail, not leaving it on server, then I cannot retrieve on my laptop, which is where I prefer to get it. What to do? Qwest is my ISP, they of course say it is a software problem, Microsoft says that since it came preinstalled by Dell, it is there problem, and Dell wants to sell me something else! |

Have you selected to delete the messages after a number of days? If not, the
server is getting clogged up. -- Bruce Hagen MS MVP - Outlook Express ~IB-CA~ "J Martin" <jbmdesign@msn.com> wrote in message news:uhTDu$o9FHA.340@TK2MSFTNGP09.phx.gbl... >I checked the box "Leave a copy of message on server", but it doesn't do >that. Are you scanning the email for viruses?
The desktop has the box checked? Try creating a new Identity. -- Ron Sommer "J Martin" <jbmdesign@msn.com> wrote in message news:uhTDu$o9FHA.340@TK2MSFTNGP09.phx.gbl... >I checked the box "Leave a copy of message on server", but it doesn't do >that. I am scanning for viruses. The desktop and the laptop have "leave message"
box checked, and so I guess I will try a new identity.
