How can I reinstall OE 6?? When I click on OE to get messages, I always get
a message you are offline--do you want to connect? I am always connected via
DSL.I have checked ALL settings and they are correct. The only thing I can
do is reinstall OE6 if I am able.

Tools | Options | General. If my computer is not connected at this
time......... Uncheck.

Tools | Options | Connections. Ask before changing dial-up connections:
Check.

Although written for WinXP, it works for all Windows operating systems 98 or
newer.

If you are using WinXP/SP2, and it was not already on your computer from the
factory, you will have to remove SP2 first.

Tools | Options | General. If my computer is not connected at this time Do

Tools | Options | Connection | Change button | Never dial a connection.

Try creating a new Identity. You can import the old emails.
