My old system crashed. The operating system was ME and used Outlook Express.
My replacement computer uses XP and also Outlook Express. My old system hard drive still works, and I have installed it in my new system as a second drive. Is there some way to mosve my Inbox and Outbox folders into my new system's Outlook Express "Local Folders"? (If it's just a matter of moving the directories from the old disk, how do I recognize the directory names? Is there a tutorial anywhere on how the files are formatted and named, and how they can be moved to other Outlook Express folders?) OM |

Search the old drive for *.dbx and then use File | Import and point to that
directory. Don't try and move the files into OE's message store directly. That will mess things up. If you want the address book, search for *.wab and then import that file as well. steve "OM" <nomail@msn.com> wrote in message news b_kf.604020$_o.390120@attbi_s71...> My old system crashed.
