Hi,
I have been helping a friend with MSOE & Outlook, she had been sending invoices from MYOB using Outlook but recipients with OE can't access the PDF attachments. I used to have a info box appear when I started OE informing me that it wasn't my default mail client and to click here to make it so. There was also a check box "Don't show message again"' It was clicked accidentally, but we need the default notice back. I've done a Google, searched KB here & posted Q @ Woodys Lounge but no luck. Do any of you guys know how to get the "Not default email client" notice to return when we start OE in future? TIA Neville |

Hi Guys,
I've been doing a bit more investigating on this problem & have been hunting around in the registry & have found solution HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Identities\{04643869-AE82-4EEF-9D86-1C54060118A4}\Software\Microsoft\Outlook Express\5.0\Mail No Check Default needs to be set to 0. Thanks "NevilleW" wrote: > Hi, > > I have been helping a friend with MSOE & Outlook, she had been sending > invoices from MYOB using Outlook but recipients with OE can't access the PDF > attachments. If they do and it still doesn't work, in OE go to Tools | Options | Security and uncheck "Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus". Have your friend only send to OE users using OL Plain Text.
