This was helpful, HOWEVER, now I have another problem. I just installed a new
harddrive and made it my boot drive. Now my office products don't work properly AND I can't export the contacts. I also can't get it to accept the original disk so that I can fix the office programs. Any suggestions? -- Ron "Michael Santovec" wrote: > How to Import and Export Address Books in Outlook Express > http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=175017 > How to Import Outlook Contacts into Outlook Express > http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=177123 > > > -- > > Mike - http://pages.prodigy.net/michael_santovec/techhelp.htm > > > "Ron" <Ron@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message > news:3F4E5F22-6CAC-42B8-B8FE-A1C9F8F8D508@microsoft.com... > >I am trying to migrate from Outlook to Outlook Express. Assuming that your operating system is Windows XP, try the following:
Change the drives so that the old one is the boot drive, then use XPs FAST wizard (Files and Settings Transfer wizard) to move the files and settings to the new drive. Read more about using FAST at this link: http://www.aumha.org/win5/a/fast.htm -- Jim Pickering, MVP, Outlook Express https://mvp.support.microsoft.com/pr...8-1171988A62D6 Please deliver feedback to the newsgroup, so that others can be helped.
