Default Missing E icon

All of my favorites show either their own Flavor Icon or the blue E icon,
which probably stands for Outlook Express.

However, no matter what I do, one of my favorites shows neither icon,it only
shows the little shortcut arrow in the lower left hand corner where the icon
used to be.

Any idea what causes this? I have tried re-establishing the shortcut to the
URL, without luck.

That's the Internet Explorer icon not Outlook Express (which is an
envelope).

The blue "e" is the Internet Explorer icon.

Any Favorite with a unique icon downloaded it from the web site. So the
problem is probably the web site has a bad icon.

Use the following newsgroup for questions or problems with IE6
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsof...er.ie6.browser

You can also get to the Internet Explorer newsgroups via this web site:
http://www.microsoft.com/communities...s/default.mspx
There select Internet Explorer

Be sure to include the URL of the problem web site when posting there.
