All of my favorites show either their own Flavor Icon or the blue E icon, which probably stands for Outlook Express. However, no matter what I do, one of my favorites shows neither icon,it only shows the little shortcut arrow in the lower left hand corner where the icon used to be. Any idea what causes this? I have tried re-establishing the shortcut to the URL, without luck. -- Walter www.rationality.net - |

The blue "e" is the Internet Explorer icon.
Any Favorite with a unique icon downloaded it from the web site. So the problem is probably the web site has a bad icon. Use the following newsgroup for questions or problems with IE6 news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsof...er.ie6.browser You can also get to the Internet Explorer newsgroups via this web site: http://www.microsoft.com/communities...s/default.mspx There select Internet Explorer Be sure to include the URL of the problem web site when posting there. -- Mike - http://pages.prodigy.net/michael_santovec/techhelp.htm "Walter R." <wer25@example.com> wrote in message news:Ms7of.6427$hI1.3207@tornado.socal.rr.com... > > All of my favorites show either their own Flavor Icon or the blue E > icon, which probably stands for Outlook Express. > > However, no matter what I do, one of my favorites shows neither > icon,it only shows the little shortcut arrow in the lower left hand > corner where the icon used to be. > > Any idea what causes this?
