Default Message Rule Problem

have the following rule as #1:

Where the To line does not contain '@'

Delete it from the Server

and Stop processing more rules

It seems to delete at least some messages which actually have me as an
addressee. I thought I had copied this rule verbatim from
http://www.mindspring.com/~majik/messagerules.htm as recommended by someone
here.

What did I do wrong?

Max Lynn

Did you even look at the replies to your post yesterday?

For starters, you cannot check Delete it from server *and* Stop processing
more rules. If you choose Delete it from server, all other actions are
grayed out. So you will have to double check what you actually have and get
back to us.

First let me apologize for the dual post, but I never received the original
post or any replies in OE (and I posted originally in OE). The only way I
can view that post is via Google and wouldn't have known about it unless you
had referenced the URL. It appears that I have a problem in the way I have
OE configured??

Second, in answer to your question, my rule as set up has an '@' specified.

Did you try View | Current View | Show Replies to my Messages?

If that doesn't bring it up go to Tools | Options | Read and UNcheck
"Download 300 headers at a time".
