Greetings!
I was having this problem and now it is correct, but I can't import the old address book. What happened was..... I would open OE6 (using Win98SE), then try to open any in/out message and getting a fatal error every time. I learned from the Microsoft site (http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=247706) how to solve it and renamed my address book to "oldbook.wab". Now everything works fine again. However, when I try to import the old address book, I get the same fatal error (see below). Hopefully some kind soul has run across this and knows how I can get back my collection of email addresses. Thanks in advance! Fred MSIMN caused an invalid page fault in module WAB32.DLL at 0187:35c4c163. Hi Fred,
Can entries from the old book be exported as a comma-separated values (.csv) file, and then imported from the (.csv) file? Can entries be copied from the old book to the new? More Information (includes tips for exporting as a (.csv) file) http://home.earthlink.net/~kuaytim/exportwab.htm -- Tim K. aka Kuay Tim MS-MVP - Outlook Express Lynnwood, WA * "Fred" <testing@testing1212mouse.com> wrote in message news:XMppf.42264$fY5.2908@trnddc02... Thanks, Tim. I did what you said and got all the addresses back except for
a couple of folders. Recovered 99% though. Thanks very much. You're welcome, Fred. Glad to know it was (mostly) a success.
