Default Milo: Can my MS Identities for OE6 be stored in MyDocs instead?

Can my MS Identities for OE6 be stored in MyDocs instead of under Local
Settings? This would be really nice because then, when I back up my MyDocs
every week, the OE info would get backed up at the same time instead of
having to remember to do it separately.

If so, how do I tell OE where I'm moving it to so it continues to recognize
it?
Thanks! - Milo

In OE, Tools, Options, Maintenance tab, Store folder button, Change button,
go to the new folder, .....

Default RE: Milo: Can my MS Identities for OE6 be stored in MyDocs instead?

This worked great...once I realized I had to do it for each identity
separately. :-)

I put everything in a new folder called "My Outlook Express".

I noticed, though, that there is a folder called "My Outlook Express
Identities" that I don't remember creating. In it are folders called:

1) "Address Book" (which contains a wab file)
2) "Message Store" (which contains folders named after my six screen names,
not long 'A7T6537YE753' type names...and those folders have outdate versions
of my data
3) "Registry Keys" (which has the same six named folders as above, but
these are empty)

I don't know if these files are still serving a purpose or not, but the wab
file in particular seems like it would be important. Would be nice to get
only what's needed under "My Outlook Express" and delete the other if could
be.

I hope that you create a folder for each Identity.

You must have tried using an OE backup program.
