Default Error Messages

While shutting down Outlook Express 6.000.2800.1123 I receive the following
error messages. <1> Svcatreg has caused an error in <unknown> <2> Mmkeybd has
caused an error in Kernel32.dll. MmKeybd will now shut down. <3> Parfires has
caused an error in Kernel32.dll. Parfires will now shut close.

I have Windows ME
Outlook Express 6.0

Does anyone know anything about these errro messages. i have researched them
on Microsoft's Knowledge Base. Nothing.

Thanks,

Dan

None of those appear to be Microsoft programs.

Mmkeybd is for your keyboard.

Contact your PC manufacturer for help with that.

I don't recognize Svcatreg or Parfires. You should locate the files,
then Right click and select Properties then Version tab to get an
indication of who it's from. If you recognize the manufacturer, contact
them. They might possibly be viruses or spyware. Dealing with Unwanted

Also do an updated anti-virus scan.
