Unwanted subscription problem

Whenever I choose a newsgroup using the "Go to"* button OE subscribes to
that ng. As I understand it, that button shouldn't start a subscription.

I use XP Home with IE 6/OE 6 (Swedish) on a new HP Pavillion.
The "Subscribe" button gives me a subscription in the usual way, and the
option "Unsubscribe" works.
