In IE: File | Export | Favorites. Send them to a location to copy them to
CD. After you reinstall Windows, copy them from the CD to a folder on your HDD and File | Import | Favorites. It's never a good idea to use anything other than a dedicated file manager (like Windows Explorer) to write data to a floppy. They're too prone to mechanical error and can result in data loss. -- Bob http://www.kanyak.com |

Office programs do not use the same file functions that Explorer does. They save a new version of a file by storing a temporary copy, deleting the old version, and renaming the temporary version to the permanant name. This procedure is much safer when you have plenty of disk space but can be very much riskier on removable drives with limited available space. Hence the recommendation to copy files to your hard drive, update them there, and then copy the revised version to the floppy. -- Gary L. Smith Columbus, Ohio |
