Second post, same question
______________________________________________ I know I've read the answer to this question before........ Why do some emails have boxes with the little red X in them where an image should be showing. Sometimes they are in an attachment, other times not. Is there a way to see these images within the message? Max |

If you replied to the original thread, we would know what was suggested. So
now we start all over. Is Block Images unchecked in Tools | Options | Security? Are you reading in Plain Text or HTML? Some reasons are on the sender's end, and some may be on your end. See these links for information: http://www.fjsmjs.com/IE/redx.htm And: http://insideoe.tomsterdam.com/faqs/why.htm#nopreview And: http://www.oehelp.com/noimg.aspx And: http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=246186 -- Bruce Hagen MS MVP - Outlook Express ~IB-CA~ "Max" <missmax2@yahoo.com> wrote in message news:uPKD3yqAGHA.2320@TK2MSFTNGP11.phx.gbl... > Second post, same question > ______________________________________________ > > I know I've read the answer to this question before........ > Why do some emails have boxes with the little red X in them where an image > should be showing. Did you also check the four links I sent in my first reply? Do that after
clearing the cache. Clear the Temporary Internet Files. In IE>Tools>Internet Options> Delete Files button. And check the box to Delete Offline content. -- Bruce Hagen MS MVP - Outlook Express ~IB-CA~ "Max" <missmax2@yahoo.com> wrote in message news:ekOjeTzAGHA.3140@TK2MSFTNGP14.phx.gbl... > Sorry, I never saw them. > > "Bruce Hagen" <Nospam@mymail.invalid> wrote in message > news:uJkJbCzAGHA.3284@TK2MSFTNGP10.phx.gbl... > There were replies, Max.
