Default RED X"s

Second post, same question
______________________________________________

I know I've read the answer to this question before........
Why do some emails have boxes with the little red X in them where an image
should be showing. Sometimes they are in an attachment, other times not.
Is there a way to see these images within the message?

Max

If you replied to the original thread, we would know what was suggested. So
now we start all over.

Is Block Images unchecked in Tools | Options | Security? Are you reading in
Plain Text or HTML?

Some reasons are on the sender's end, and some may be on your end.

Most often because the image was not actually sent with the message. What
is the size of the message?

Did you also check the four links I sent in my first reply? Do that after
clearing the cache.

Clear the Temporary Internet Files. In IE>Tools>Internet Options>
Delete Files button. And check the box to Delete Offline content.

If it's only some messages it is probably not anything on your machine.
