In View | Current View, check: Show all messages for e-mail and Show all
messages & Group messages by conversation for News, which is the suggested choices. Any other choices, (i.e. Copy of Show all messages), and you will see View Applied. -- Bruce Hagen MS MVP - Outlook Express ~IB-CA~ "pepperee" <pepperee@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:294CAFED-BADC-4FC1-86C5-E78D259DAD81@microsoft.com... > I notice when I read email or browse newsgroups, at the bottom of the > page, on the left, it say's "view applied."
