When I add a new contact that has several, different email ids (work, home,
personal, Hotmail, etc.), the WAB makes all entries the default email. I can't get around it. Obviously then I have to select from the list when sending that person an email. It's very frustrating. I'm running XP SP2. I've removed and reinstalled OE, no help. By the way, I built the address book one entry at a time, I did not import it from some other corrupted version. I would appreciate ay assistance, I've searched all over the internet and cannot find another example of this problem. Rocco |

The best way to get around this is to have separate entries for each
address. If you have 3 addresses for one person, create 3 entries in your AB, not in one profile. -- Bruce Hagen MS MVP - Outlook Express ~IB-CA~ "Rockster" <rdapril@frontiernet.net> wrote in message news:eD3ynBiEGHA.3728@tk2msftngp13.phx.gbl... > When I add a new contact that has several, different email ids (work, > home, personal, Hotmail, etc.), the WAB makes all entries the default > email. Create separate, differently named Contacts (e.g., Rockster-Home,
Rockster-Work, Rockster-Personal, Rockster-Hotmail) and use only the pertinent address for each. I have used separate entries for each email id. This has always worked in
the past. |

Is each entry uniquely named? -- ~Robear Dyer (PA Bear) MS MVP-Windows (IE/OE, Shell/User, Security), Aumha.org VSOP, DTS-L.org Rockster wrote: > I have used separate entries for each email id. This has always worked in > the past. |
