Default Marking as read

I read many similar newsgroups and would like it if when I marked all as
read in one then those same posts would get marked as read in the other
groups so I wouldn't have to plow thru them again.
Many months back I asked about this and one if the MVP'S said "its in the
works".
Anyone able to update this or suggest a newsreader that could do it.
SG

Yes, if they are in newsgroups in the same OE news account.

Thanks Frank, now I will check why that isn't always true. I suspect bulk
posters are modifying some trivial thing.

Often they multi-post instead of crossposting. OE uses the newsgroups in
the particular message you mark as read to tell where else to mark it. D**n
spammers.
