What changed on your system? It sounds like you either updated DirectX,
DirectShow, or your video card drivers when this started happening...

Got the same problem here. It seems from forums, newsgroups a lot are
experiencing this. Havent seen a solution yet.

I'm using Ati all in wonder , latest drivers ( still fairly old though).
Maybe thats the common cause??

Mine happened when I upgraded to 10. I updated all. I then rolled back to 9.
The same problem then affected 9 which had been fine before.

I "removed" 9 via add/remove windows components and picked up a fresh copy
of 10 from windows update site. Made sure I had the latest codecs, dx etc.
I still have the floating window.
