I can't send files from my PC (running WMP 10.00.00.3646) to my windows
mobile phone (Orange SPV C550 running WMP 10) via Active Sync 3.8.0. It syncs fine with outlook but I use a 512MB Mini SD card to store music/video.WMP finds the existing files but won't add more.It goes to 4% on the 1st track then stops and goes to aborted files or says it can't detect a device even though the existing files are still there.Drag and drop won't work either.Any ideas? -- cheers |

Can you use ActiveSync to copy/move files? Because if ActiveSync isn't working for this, WMP wouldn't be able to do this either. -- (speaking for myself and doing this in my free time) See http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html for some helpful WMP info. Do you mean by opening a window to explore mobile device (then browse to
storage card) and then dragging files from my documents window? If so that doesn't work either. It does nothing for about 30 secs then pretends to start, then disappears leaving a ~mv file size 0 bytes (it was A wmv i tried to send). I have to disconnect the phone to be able to delete it. -- cheers "zachd [ms]" wrote: > > Can you use ActiveSync to copy/move files? Yep, exactly. You would need to have that working before WMP would work. This sounds like a better question to ask ActiveSync peoples or your device provider... -- (speaking for myself and doing this in my free time) See http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html for some helpful WMP info.
