When I try to install the new version of WMP 10, I get and error message
saying that the version of Windows Media Technology I am trying to install is not compatible with my version of Windows. I'm running Windows XP Porfessional Service Pack 2. |

You deleted wmploc.dll from your c:\windows\system32 directory somehow. Replace that file with the copy at c:\windows\system32\dllcache and then you should be able to install. -- (speaking for myself and doing this in my free time) See http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html for some helpful WMP info.
