Hey!
Now before you guys get angry about how stupid this question is, let me cover some bases first. My computer is on. My speakers are connected and powered up, oh- and it is a video file that I am trying to play. My problem is, is in windows media, the video itself comes up funny, the colors are all wrong, more orange and pixelated. Though, the sound appears to be fine, In quicktime, it is directly the opposite, the video is pristine, but there is no sound. Being the elitist I am, I figured I could fix this problem myself. I downloaded video inspecter and gspot to identify the codecs I needed and made sure I had them. Sure enough I have the correct codecs installed. So, than I thought the codecs could be conflicting eachother, so I removed all of them, and reinstalled ac3 package(I belive thats what it was called.) Still nothing. Quite suddenly, I found myself furious. So, I installed the 'playa' The video and sound worked fine, but did not sync up. Maybe I should have gotton a Mac! Than I uninstalled my codecs, winamp, real player, quicktime, anything that reads a video, and installed new divx, and what not. Still nothing. Please, show me the error of my ways. All I want to do is watch my bad 90s puppet movies. Thanks for your help! Erin |
