Default RE: can't rip audio cd to library

I have the same problem. I'm running Win XP Home with all the updates. Did
your get this problem resolved? Any help is appreciated. I can rip with
iTunes.

Still will not work............believe it must have been a protected CD I was
using. iTunes works fine for me also.

Hi,
My CD is not protected. I can rip the CD with Windows Media Player 10 on
another computer (different motherboard but same brand drive) but with Win XP
Pro rather than Win XP Home. Given that iTunes works, I think it has to do
with lame Windows Media Player software. I also rolled back to Windows Media
Player 9 and it still failed. Bummer.
