media player

I am using windows media player 10. When I pop in a store bought CD media
player will not display the CD info. The screen reads "accessing online music
store."
Then nothing appears to happen for several minutes. Is there something wrong
with my computer?
I have tried "ITUNES"; this displays all the CD info easily.
please help!

What happens if you click "View Media Info?
Does WMP's "Guide" work?
