I am having a problem after I run Windows Media Player on my laptop.
Here is the scenario. I play a CD on my laptop and leave the laptop unattended. After the CD finishes playing the laptop times out and goes into sleep mode. When I hit a key to wake the laptop up, it checks the CD drive and then goes back to sleep. The only way to wake the laptop up is to power it off and reboot. When Windows Media Player is not running, my laptop wakes up normally when I touch any key. Has anyone encountered this problem ? How do you wake up the laptop without going through power off reboot ? I am running Windows XP and Windows Media Player 10 -- plc |
