I went to the Windows Media Player FAQ and followed the instructions for
activating Mini mode, but when I selected "Toolbars" the drop down menu did not include "Windows Media Player" like it shows in the example. How can I get it to include Media Player so I can used mini mode?? .. |

[For use with XP]
Go somewhere in the middle in the most below bar at a spot that is not occupied by a running program button. Then rightclick "taskbar" and select (tick) 'windows media player'. If you did so start media player and click on 'minimize' button at top right of the screen. Then you should see the very basic controls of media player in the most below bar. Good luck! The problem is as follows: I open up Windows Media Player9.0, I follow the
insturctions for mini mode by minimizing WMP and then clicking on the taskbar. Then I select Toolbars. Lastly I am supposed to select Windows Media Player. The problem is Windows Media Player does not show up as a selection. Run: regsvr32 "c:\program files\windows media player\wmpband.dll" .... does it show up after you do that? -- (speaking for myself and doing this in my free time) See http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html for some helpful WMP info.
