for some strange reason if I am watching a video or playing a song and
shutdown WMP, I could still hear the audio from the video. And if after
colsing WMP I reopened again the video is still playting. All I want is to be
able to hit the "X" and what ever is playing to quit playing. I have Windows
XP Home edition and I am running WMP Version 10.00.00.3646. Any help is
appreciated. Thank You

It sounds like you have buggy sound card drivers. Have you checked with
your vendor for an update?
