I downloaded a compilation album (99 tracks in all) from buy.com and was having all sorts of problems (which I described in a previous post). WMP 10 wasn't even attempting to access the license -- I was just getting a DRM component error. I copied the WMAs to another PC and was able to play them only if I signed into my buy.com account in order for WMP to acquire the license. That's fine for a few tracks, but all 99 would be more typing than I'd prefer.

I got my WMP 10 working (finally) on the original downloading PC, called buy.com and had them reset my license. I downloaded the tracks again to the original PC and was hoping to play my tracks. Well, WMP is asking me to login in for each and every track. I assumed that process would only be for playing tracks on a secondary PC. Shouldn't the license be for all tracks if you download them to the primary PC?

Is there any way around this? A bulk sign in process or something? Some way that WMP will remember my license is for the whole album? I haven't downloaded a lot of music, but what I did download in the past did not require me to acquire a license for every track one at a time. Maybe buy.com's downloads are just screwy.

There is an update for the DRM on the Windows update, under optional updates, "Update for WMDRM-enabled Media Players (KB891122)". This may help not sure.
