Are we wasting our time here. How many of our questions are being answered?
Really None. The bottom line is that WMP will play only their own proprientary formats. They will not play real media, quicktime, etc. In a lot of cases they it will not play its own formats as in my case, it will not play ASF or AVI video. The VLC Media player, which is a free open source player, I have found will play all formats immediately. Make it your default player and it plays everthing. Make WMP your default player and it will play only a few microsoft compatible files and you'll have to load another player to play others. -- eldon |

http://zachd.com/pss/pss/html#netiquette should be a required first read, I'd think. This is a peer support community. No one is here to help you except you, so you'll tend to get out what you put in. =\ -Zach -- (speaking for myself and doing this in my free time) See http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html for some helpful WMP info.
