Default No Error Code

No matter what type of file I try to play I always get the following pop-up
box:

Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the
file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file.

Can anyone help me fix this problem?

TIA,
aefedge

Please click on the link I gave you. If you clicked "More Information" or
whatnot on the error you get, you get the error code. =)
