Hi,
I have a similar issue with my screensaver overriding my "disable screensaver" settings in WMP10. I have a Dell Dimension XPS using WinXP Media Center 2005. Perhaps this is a Media Center specific problem? I tried adjusting registry settings via RegEdit, and even tinkered with group & user policies, but to no avail. I have reset original registry and policy settings, which match the settings on my other 2 WinXP Pro SP2 computers. The XP Pro PCs do not have this issue. Alas, I still have to disable screensaver on my MCE to prevent it from blocking out my video. Any suggestions would be most appreciated. Thanks! ~ Mark "Ysioc" wrote: > Hello, > > I want to disable the screen saver when viewing Movies in WM10. WMP will refuse to Disable Screensaver if it's a password-protected screensaver, since then disabling screensaver would perceivably a security issue... -- (speaking for myself and doing this in my free time) See http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html for some helpful WMP info.
