Do you have mmswitch.ax on your system? ok, what is mmswitch.ax? If it's bad, how do I get rid of it? (just for
further information, realplayer quits after a few songs) (would mmswitch affect that too?) "zachd [ms]" wrote: > > Do you have mmswitch.ax on your system? I don't know how it got on your system nor why you have it there. It's commonly distributed in fairly stupid codec packs. One of many reasons why most knowledgeable people suggest people stay the heck away from "codec packs". Look for "mmswitch.ax" on your system. Unregister it or delete it. =\ -- (speaking for myself and doing this in my free time) See http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html for some helpful WMP info. Thank you Zach! I haven't been able to play streaming media for over a year
now. I searched for, found, and removed the MMSwitch.ax file from two different places on my computer. The problem is now solved, we can play streaming video again! Thanks again for your help! :-) "zachd [ms]" <zachd@nomailplz.online.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:ORuObZH5FHA.884@TK2MSFTNGP14.phx.gbl... > > I don't know how it got on your system nor why you have it there.
