Windows media player cannot perform the requested action at this time.
Click the play button to try to reconnect to this stream. New Dell P4 with 1GB Ram using Win XP SP2. Media player 10. Uninstalled and just reinstalled Media Player, did not help. Reinstalled from Microsoft download site. Noticed MANY,MANY,MANY posts for this error message, but NO answers. Just more LAME questions. All I care about and am trying to use is www.movies.yahoo.com to watch movie trailers on yahoo movies. Used to work just fine, have changed nothing. I can view music videos. Did not lose that ability. Tried change settings in yahoo movie window too, did not help. This error message (mysterioulsy ) does not appear in the actual help page for Media Player at Microsoft knowledge base (surprise!!!). Before I pitch this piece of crap out the window, anyone got any ideas ? -- Thanks |
