I recently created a folder on my desktop called Music and used WMP 10 to
monitor this folder so it could organize the files nicely and gather missing tag info and cover art. Now that I am done with this folder, I moved the contents and deleted the folder. After that I removed all entries from the Monitor Folders option in WMP10. Unfortunately for me, everytime I start windows media player now, it auto-creates a folder on my desktop called Music. this is quite annoying as I keep having to delete this file mantually after the player closes. Has anybody else had this problem or can you reproduct it? I tried to email support to report a bug but could not see spending $35 to make their product better after I could not find mention of this error in the news groups. |

Have you removed the references t othis file under WMP's Tools:Options? Is it still your My Music/Rip folder or a monitored folder? -- (speaking for myself and doing this in my free time) See http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html for some helpful WMP info. Yes - all references were removed and the folder was deleted. Each time I
start Media Player it shows back up. Very strange. "zachd [ms]" wrote: > > Have you removed the references t othis file under WMP's Tools:Options? Odd... you can try searching the registry for the path, perhaps.... ? -- (speaking for myself and doing this in my free time) See http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html for some helpful WMP info.
