I would recommend uninstalling the currently installed player, then
reinstalling Windows Media 10. be sure you back-up your licenses first, so
you can restore them after you reinstall. hope this helps

That's not good and even viable advice. =) You do NOT need to uninstall
Windows Media Player ever in order to install the new version. I write the
installer, and I would hate for anybody to need to do that. So please don't
tell people they need to - it's actually very counter-productive to a good
install if you attempt to uninstall first. =)
