Default Cannot complete burning session with Windows Media Player?

For some reason after I convert the files for burning to my cd, the computer
says that I have a damaged disk and closes the session. I have 80 brand new
cd-r disks and they have worked perfectly until now. Same manufacturer and
brand new. I had problems with basic copying with the windows application as
well but not with a Sonic product that I have. I would love to burn with
Media player because it is great but I am really confused as to why it is not
allowing me to burn? Please help!

The Windows application and the one WMP uses are one and the exact same.
It's pretty much a toy sample burner compared to a commercial burner such as
Sonic or Nero or Roxio, really.
http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html#xpcdburn
covers how to trouble-shoot it, but realistically the system burner simply
truthfully cannot provide as excellent of a burn as something commercial,
since the system burner can't finalize by default nor does it support
gapless CDs. =\

See http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html for some helpful WMP info.
