I ripped some audio disks to my media library as mp3s and tried to burn
them (using WMP10) as a data disk for replay. Before burning them to disk, WMP converted them to WMAs and wrote them as such. Is there a way around this in WMP10, or do I have to use another program to burn as mp3s? What program? I can burn them using Drag'n Drop, but that program doesn't recognize my playlists. Many thanks for any help. Paul |

Are you sur you're burning a data disc, and not a music CD. Is there a way > around this in WMP10, or do I have to use another program to burn as > mp3s? What program? Copy the files to a CD as if you were making a backup CD of any other filetype. |

I'm using a new unformatted disk right out of the box and using the Data Disk selection. > Is there a way > >> around this in WMP10, or do I have to use another program to burn as >> mp3s? I havn't tried that yet, but I think the problem will be that the order of the playlist won't be preserved, just like when burning with Drag'n Drop. |

Only some advanced players support the playlists. If you want the order to be fixed as the playlist then you need to rename/renumber the files - it just plays the files in alphanumeric order otherwise. WMP won't do this for you automatically. |

The problem with WMP is more fundamental than the order. WMP converts my
MP3s to WMAs, but it does include the playlist file on the disk.
