I have windows media player 10 installed on my computer, and it is
registered to play all file types on it's options menu, however it does
not play media files embedded in web pages.

If I visit a site with an embedded file, the very old windows media
player attempts to play it. This player is found at "C:\Program
Files\Windows Media Player\mplayer2.exe". I can not find an option
anywhere that lets me change it to the new version. I even copied
"wmplayer.exe", which is Media Player 10, and renamed it to
mplayer2.exe, however the old version still plays embedded files.

Please someone help me.
