In order to convert WMA files to MP3 files, I downloaded the Plus! Audio
Converter Update files for Windows Media Player 10 from the Microsoft Website. However, when I tried to run the update, the error message: "This application has failed to start because ATL70.DLL was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem." It did not. How do I fix this problem? I am running Windows XP Home Edition. |

Have you fixed this yet? It sounds like you just need to get any valid ATL7 installation package on your system... =\ -- (speaking for myself and doing this in my free time) See http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html for some helpful WMP info. Thanks zachd. Not fixed yet since I don't know how to get a valid ATL70
installation package, or what this package even is. Can you point me in the right direction? Thanks "zachd [ms]" wrote: > > Have you fixed this yet? Sorry, not really. You need atl70.dll. WMP doesn't normally use that, which is why it's not shipped with WMP. Sounds like something else on the system needed it but didn't install it. You can search your favorite search engine for potential download locations - I don't have it here, and I don't know what MS software includes it. -- (speaking for myself and doing this in my free time) See http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html for some helpful WMP info.
